John Whitaker serves as the Chairman of the Board at Navigator Group. His duties include acting as the primary liaison for independent directors, who are responsible for appointing the Chairman. Additionally, he coordinates the activities of the independent directors, including convening their regular executive sessions. He is in charge of setting the agenda for board meetings and presides over both the board meetings and the independent governance committee meetings. John joined the Navigator Group Board of Directors in 2012 and was appointed as Chairman in 2024.
